Auto-moving applicants following Checklist outcome change

When an applicant is found suitable/unsuitable at a stage of our recruitment process, our staff are currently required to manually change the applicant's status or link them to a different job/requisition. We complete this manual action once we have updated the relevant outcome section in the Springboard Checklist.

We currently have some auto-moves which function when a Checklist update is made. These were created by PeopleScout in the back-end. These automations change the status of an applicant within a job/requisition when a Checklist outcome is updated. Currently to set up this type of auto-rule, our team need to raise a ticket for PeopleScout to hard code the automation into the back-end.

Is it possible for a solution to be developed which enables our team to create this type of auto-rule ourselves? An option which could possibly be added to the exisiting Process Designer or Talent Folder Process?

Some benefits and efficiencies of this would include:

  • Time savings as our staff would no longer need to manually change status or link applicants, only update the Checklist.

  • Streamlining processing, as it reduces double handling.

  • Our staff not at risk of accidentally creating duplicate applications when manually linking applincants between jobs/requsitions.

  • PeopleScout receiving a lower number of tickets requesting this type of back-end rule creation.

  • Creating a more customisable solution for clients.
