Option to remove a Questionnaire once it has been linked to a Requisition

We have some requisitions that are open for some time and hiring needs can change; with this so can our screening questions.

Inability to remove questionnaires or edit them is very limiting to advertising and creating need for opening new requisitions; please can we consider a functionality around questionnaire edit/delete functionality.

    Hello Emma and Kate,

We’ve reviewed this idea and here’s the outcome:

    • If no candidates have applied (or saved a draft): Springboard allows you to edit or delete the Questionnaire attached to the job ad.

    • If candidates have applied (or saved a draft): Deletion is not allowed to prevent:

      • Data inconsistencies

      • Bias from different candidates answering different questions

      • Broken automations or workflows

If a Questionnaire must be removed after candidates have applied, you have two options:

    1. Application Support removal – The team can delete it from the database.
⚠️ This will also remove responses from existing applicants, and you cannot resend a replacement. The correct Questionnaire can only be attached for new applicants.

    2. Create a new job ad – Attach the correct Questionnaire to a fresh posting and close the old job ad with the obsolete Questionnaire.

    Kind regards,

The Department of Justice and Commuit Safety has the exact same situation, so this idea would be beneficial to us too.
