It would save time and effort to have an alert when an applicant uploads a document or completes a task.
This could be that the applicant's name is highlighted or a column produced beside the applicant's name with a Y to denote that the applicant has completed or uploaded something in their portal.
Presently we have to search every applicant to check which is arduous and time-consuming.
The request relates to the implementation of a notifications system when individual applicants upload document/s. Applicants could be flagged as requiring action by the recruiter in the back end through a colour or status change that provides clear indication that action is needed. The flag should be searchable.

Is this a request for the careers portal or onboarding document?
For onboarding portal, the notification alert is already gnerated but needs to be configured for the user as shown in the screenshot below:
